NASSAU BROADCASTING SIGNS LMA DEAL FOR NASSAU’S 1040 AM WITH 1050 ESPN NEW YORK TO EXPAND ESPN’S SIGNAL

PRINCETON, NJ (JANUARY 3, 2008) – Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P. (“Nassau) has reached a multi-year local marketing agreement (“LMA”) with 1050 ESPN New York (WEPN-AM) for Nassau’s station WCHR 1040 AM licensed to Flemington, NJ. Beginning in mid-January, 2008 1040 AM will broadcast 1050 ESPN New York’s signal on a full-time basis.

Under the terms of the agreement, 1040 AM will carry 1050’s entire 24/7 broadcast which will now cover a substantial number of counties in New Jersey including all or portions of Hunterdon, Mercer, Montgomery, Northampton, Somerset and Warren counties and will provide additional Pennsylvania coverage in all or portions of Bucks, Philadelphia and Burlington counties. 1040 AM has a total population reach of approximately 5.9 million people.

“This agreement allows 1050 ESPN to provide our extensive sports programming to a substantially wider audience throughout significant portions of New Jersey and in the northern Philadelphia suburbs,” said Tim McCarthy, 1050 ESPN New York’s President/General Manager. “We saw an opportunity for an improvement in our signal coverage and found a great new partner to work with.”
