JYY MORNING SHOW HOST NAZZY TO PULL STUNT 25
FEET IN THE AIR IN DOWNTOWN CONCORD…TO
RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL CHILDREN’S CHARITY
(Concord,
NH) -- 105.5 JYY, Concord’s
Only Hit Music Station, announces inception of The JYY Children’s
Fund, an extension of the Nassau Broadcasting Community Fund
Inc. The purpose of The JYY Children’s Fund will be
to raise money for New Hampshire children’s charities.
To help
kick off fundraising efforts of The JYY Children’s
Fund, the station’s Morning Show Host, Nazzy, will
execute a spectacular act of self-sacrifice unlike anything
the Capitol area has ever seen. At approximately 10:00 AM
on Monday morning, September 17th on the State House Plaza
in Downtown Concord, Nazzy will step on the 46”X68” platform
of a scissor-lift and be raised 25 feet into the air. At
that point, listeners of the station and spectators of the
event will be encouraged to make a monetary donation to The
JYY Children’s Fund, either on location, at the station’s
website, wjyy.com, or by phone at 1-888-817-1055. Nazzy does
not intend to come down from the scissor lift until $25,000
has been raised for The JYY Children’s Fund. At the
very least, he will spend several days and nights on the
platform for all to see, performing his morning show and
doing several call-ins throughout the day.
Net proceeds
raised from this event will go directly to Kristen’s Gift, a Pediatric Oncology Fund for Children’s
Hospital At Dartmouth (CHaD) in Lebanon, NH. As New Hampshire's
only children's hospital, CHaD is a part of Dartmouth-Hitchcock
Medical Center and also has offices at Dartmouth-Hitchcock
Manchester.
Donations will be accepted from individuals, as well as
local businesses and corporations, at the State House Plaza
on North Main Street in Concord, online at wjyy.com, or by
phone (6am to 6pm only) at 1-888-817-1055.

JYY General Manager Robert Fulmer stated: “We
wanted to do something that would really make a difference.
This event will not only raise money for local children with
life threatening disease, but will also build awareness for
the charities that help those children every day.”
“It will be a pleasure for us to continue with the
JYY tradition of giving back to the community.” says
AJ Dukette, Program Director of 105.5 JYY.
Several
local businesses have already stepped up to help out, such
as
United Rentals, Bonneville & Son, Camping
World, Eastern Mountain Sports, Serendipity Day Spa, The
Concord Grille, The Common Man, Donnatello’s Pizza,
Panera Bread, and more.
