PENNSYLVANIA’S MARKET LEADER HAWK 99.9
BRINGS THE KEN & KITTY MORNING SHOW BACK
TO THE LEHIGH VALLEY
Easton,
PA. -- Nassau Broadcasting Partners, LP has announced that
its Classic Hits station 99.9 The Hawk
will bring the highly rated Ken & Kitty Morning Show
back to the Lehigh Valley. The fun, fast-paced duo will make
their dynamic return to the Valley’s airwaves Monday,
July 23rd at 5:30am.
Ken & Kitty first came to the Valley in 1997, becoming
a #1 morning show within their first year. In 2004, while
still on top of the ratings, the pair took their show on
the road to Cincinnati where they continued their success.
Both are excited to return to their Lehigh Valley roots. “Now
I know how Dorothy felt. There really is no place like home,” says
Kitty. Her co-host Ken is quick to add, “Wild horses
couldn’t drag us away this time.”
99.9
The Hawk’s Classic Hits format first took the
Valley by storm in the fall of 2001 and has remained a dominant
market force for the last six years. “While we were
sad to lose Michaels and Layne, the entire staff is thrilled
to add Ken & Kitty to the Nassau Broadcasting team,” says
The Hawk’s Program Director, Bill Sheridan. Rick Musselman,
Nassau’s COO, echoes these remarks saying, “Ken & Kitty
are a talented team and an established Lehigh Valley favorite.
They bring a buffet of new possibilities and opportunities
to The Hawk’s table.”
The station
currently operates out of Nassau’s Easton
office located at 107 Paxinosa Road West. For more information
regarding 99.9 The Hawk (WODE-FM), please contact Bill Sheridan,
Program Director, at 610-258-6155.
