Broadcasting switches formats on 870 AM WLVP
from Air America Radio to ESPN Radio
After a little more than three years,
Nassau Broadcasting ended the Air America Radio format it
broadcast on 870 AM WLVP on Friday June 1, 2007 at 6:00am.
The station is now 870 ESPN radio.
“It was simply time to put the best product possible
on 870 AM WLVP and without question that is ESPN sports radio” said
Patrick Collins, Senior Vice President and General Manager
for Nassau Broadcasting Maine. ESPN radio is home to Mike
and Mike in the Morning and the Dan Patrick Show in the afternoon.
870 ESPN will carry the ESPN radio network 24 hours a day
and will also air local high school sports.

in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Vermont, New Hampshire,
