BROADCASTING SOARS IN PORTLAND, MAINE RATINGS
Portland, ME - Nassau Broadcasting Partners,
LP announced today a record rating achievement from its Portland,
Maine radio group in the just released Fall 2006 Arbitron
survey. Classic hits 107.5 Frank FM, Country 99.9 The Wolf
and mainstream rock station 106.7/104.7 The Bone achieved
a cluster record average quarter hour share of 20.9 in the
key Adult 25-54 demographic, Monday through Friday 6a-7p.
This represented a 56% increase from the previous ratings
period.
99.9 The Wolf (WTHT-FM), one of two country stations in
Portland, won the coveted position as the top country station
in Portland in all key adult demographics including 25-54,
25-49, 18-49 and 18-34 adults. The Wolf also achieved its
highest book ever securing second in Adults 18-49, third
Adults 25-54 and tied for third Adults 18-34 in the market
overall.

Frank FM, Nassau’s highly successful hybrid
classic hits format, continued to dominate the Portland market
by landing another first place finish overall with Adults
25-54 and tying for first, with its sister station The Wolf
in the Adult 18-49 and 18-34 demographics. 107.5 Frank FM
has held the #1 spot in the adult demographics five out of
the last six Arbitron rating periods.
106.7 / 104.7 The Bone, reformatted in July as a mainstream
rock station with Free Beer and Hot Wings in the Morning,
vaulted to number one Men 18-34 and 18-49 in morning drive
and finished third Men 25-54. The station achieved record
ratings through out the day in all adult demographics.
