NASSAU
LAUNCHES NEW “FRANK-FM” IN CAPE COD, MA
West
Yarmouth, MA - Nassau Broadcasting Partners,
L.P. (“Nassau”) announced today that they have changed
the format of WTWV licensed to Mashpee, MA and WDVT licensed
to Harwich Port, MA operating as a simulcast in the Cape
Cod, MA market. The stations have now become 101.1 and
93.5 Frank-FM "We Play It All".
The all
new “Frank-FM” has Cape Cod's largest music library, playing
a huge variety of songs from artists like Aerosmith, Billy
Joel, Madonna, Prince, Sheryl Crow, R.E.M. and more. Frank-FM
has launched the station into the market by playing 10,000
songs in a row commercial free.
“Like
most of the other markets we serve, Cape Cod is a retail-rich
destination with upscale demographics and high growth rates,” said
Lou Mercatanti, Nassau’s Chairman and President. “In other
words, it’s a tremendous place for our staff to produce
great local radio. We are very excited today to be launching
this new format in such a dynamic market. Our new Frank-FM
will provide Cape Cod listeners a destination on the radio
dial where they will want to stay.”
