LAUNCHES ESPN RADIO ON 1470AM IN LEWISTON/AUBURN, ME
Lewiston,ME – Nassau
Broadcasting announced today that it has launched an exciting
new format on 1470 WLAM. On November 30, 2005 WLAM became
1470 ESPN, L/A’s Sports Station.
This
new format will feature the world wide leader in sports,
ESPN radio, with popular sports talk shows including Mike & Mike
in the morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, The Dan Patrick
Show, and The Sports Bash.
Speaking
about the new format, Nassau Broadcasting’s Operations
Manager for Maine, Stan Manning said, “As a resident of
Auburn, I know how passionate the local community is about
sports on all levels; local, regional and national. We
are very excited to offer the Lewiston Auburn area the
premier sports broadcasting franchise, ESPN, with our own
