ANNOUNCES DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR MATCHING ON EMPLOYEE
CONTRIBUTIONS FOR HURRICANE KATRINA
RELIEF FUND
Princeton,
New Jersey - Nassau Broadcasting Partners,
L.P. announced today that the Company will, in addition
to its own contribution, match, on a dollar for dollar
basis, contributions by its employees in all six states
in which it operates to assist in relief efforts for
Hurricane Katrina. The Nassau Community Fund will aggregate
both employee and Company matching contributions and
will donate all proceeds to the American Red Cross
Hurricane Relief Fund.
“Hurricane Katrina is one of the most devastating natural disasters this country
has ever seen” said Lou Mercatanti, Chairman and President of Nassau. “As the
stewards of our public broadcast licenses, all of our employees are already pre-disposed
to constantly be thinking of ways to help the local communities we serve every
day. It is this spirit of local awareness and giving that has created an outpouring
of support at the Company for relief efforts to assist all of the local communities
affected by Hurricane Katrina.”

relief efforts, from on-air charity auctions to live community relief drives.
