NASSAU ANNOUNCES DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR MATCHING ON EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF FUND

Princeton, New Jersey - Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P. announced today that the Company will, in addition to its own contribution, match, on a dollar for dollar basis, contributions by its employees in all six states in which it operates to assist in relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina. The Nassau Community Fund will aggregate both employee and Company matching contributions and will donate all proceeds to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.

“Hurricane Katrina is one of the most devastating natural disasters this country has ever seen” said Lou Mercatanti, Chairman and President of Nassau. “As the stewards of our public broadcast licenses, all of our employees are already pre-disposed to constantly be thinking of ways to help the local communities we serve every day. It is this spirit of local awareness and giving that has created an outpouring of support at the Company for relief efforts to assist all of the local communities affected by Hurricane Katrina.”

With 52 radio stations throughout the Northeastern United States, Nassau has been a leader in using the power of radio to raise money for Hurricane relief efforts, from on-air charity auctions to live community relief drives.
