Frank-FM is Southern New Hampshire’s #1 for Classic
Hits
Hooksett,
NH -
Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P. (“Nassau”) announced
that they have changed the format of one of its New
Hampshire radio stations licensed to Nashua, New
Hampshire, WHOB FM 106.3.
WHOB
is now 106.3 Frank-FM, Southern New Hampshire’s New #1
for Classic Hits. Frank FM will feature Classic
Hits from artists like Boston, The Eagles, Fleetwood
Mac, Elton John, and the Rolling Stones and will feature
20 Song Music Marathons throughout each day.
“We
are extremely excited to announce this change of format
on 106.3 FM to Frank-FM. After considerable research
including numerous interviews and surveys of Southern
NH adults, the overwhelming response was that they wanted
a station that played all of the Classic Hits that were
on the airwaves when they were growing up” said Lou Mercatanti,
Chairman and President Nassau Broadcasting. “Also
based on this research and on direct listener response,
we have recently made some other format changes in Southern
NH that we feel provide the region with an array of exciting
programming choices that have been missing from the region.”
Nassau
Broadcasting’s other recently announced format changes
include three of its other radio stations in New Hampshire;
WWHQ-FM 101.5 licensed to Meredith, NH and WWHK 102.3
licensed to Concord, NH both launched as “The Hawk”,
each serving their respective regions with Classic Rock. WNHW-FM
93.3 licensed to Belmont, NH was
launched as “The Wolf”,
serving Southern New Hampshire with Country music from
both new artists and the legends.
