NASSAU
BROADCASTING TO ACQUIRE 10 VOX RADIO STATIONS
PRINCETON,
NEW JERSEY- Nassau Broadcasting Holdings, Inc. has agreed
to acquire ten New England radio stations, owned by Vox
Radio Group for consideration totaling $22,000,000.
Consisting of 7 FM and 3 AM stations, a full list of the
properties to be acquired is appended.
This
transaction brings the total to 33 stations that Nassau
has agreed
to acquire in New England, making the company
the largest station owner in the in the region’s history.
Recently,
Nassau announced has several New England transactions in
the Portland, Maine, Concord, Laconia and Nashua,
New Hampshire areas.
The transaction is subject to the approval of the Federal
Communications Commission.
Nassau is headed by Louis Mercatanti, Jr, President while
Vox is headed by Bruce Danzigar, President and Jeffery Shapiro,
COO.
Dick Foreman of Richard Foreman Associates, Inc. initiated
the transaction, serving as exclusive broker to the deal.
