BROADCASTING ACQUIRES THREE VOX RADIO GROUP FM's
PRINCETON,
NEW JERSEY- Nassau Broadcasting Holdings Inc. acquired
three Concord , NH area FM properties, owned by Vox Radio
Group.
In the deal, WOTX (FM) 102.3 mHz [Country]; WJYY (FM) 107.1
mHz [CHR] and WNHI (FM) [Classic Rock] were acquired from
Vox for $9,000,000 in cash. This transaction brings to 20
stations that Nassau has agreed to acquire in the Northeast.
Recently, Nassau announced has several New England transactions
in the Portland , Maine ; Laconia , New Hampshire and Nashua
, New Hampshire areas.
Nassau is headed by Louis Mercatanti, Jr, President while
Vox is headed by Bruce Danzinger, President and Jeffery Shapiro,
CEO.
Dick Foreman of Richard Foreman Associates, Inc. initiated
the transaction, serving as exclusive broker representing
Vox Radio Group. Glenn Serafin of Serafin Brothers advised
Nassau.
