Broadcasting Awarded Contract From NY/NJ Port Authority
PRINCETON,
N.J., Sept. 19, 2000 -- Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P.
and its affiliates, a leading radio group in the Northeastern
U.S., today announced that it was awarded an exclusive
five-year contract from The Port Authority of NY and NJ
(PATH) to provide news services and advertising marketing
sales in all 13 PATH stations. PATH serves an annual population
of approximately 67.3 million commuters whose trips originate
from the New York Boroughs, the New York suburbs and Bergen,
Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset and
Union counties in New Jersey. Nassau expects to launch
the service on October 1, 2000, and projects net revenue
of between $2 million and $3 million by the end of 2001.
