Broadcasting Reports Record Second Quarter 2000 Financial
Results
PRINCETON,
N.J., Aug. 10, 2000 -- Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P.,
a leading radio group with 21 radio stations in the Northeastern
U.S., today announced financial results on a same station
basis (those properties the Company has owned for more
than one year) for second quarter and first six months
of 2000.
Same station broadcast net revenue for the second quarter
of 2000 was $8.7 million, an increase of 16.4 percent over
the same period last year. Broadcast cash flow for second
quarter was $3.2 million, or an increase of 28 percent over
last year. Net revenue and broadcast cash flow excludes results
of the Tower Company that was sold during the first quarter
of this year. For the first half of 2000, same station results
are as follows: Net broadcast revenue was $15.5 million,
up 17 percent over the first six months of 1999.
