98.3 LNH TAKES TOP HONORS AT BROADCASTING AWARDS
Gilford, NH (October 24, 2010) - Nassau Broadcasting is pleased to announce 98.3 LNH took top honors at the 2010 New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters (NHAB) Awards, held October 21 in Concord. The NHAB recognized 98.3 LNH as Station of the Year at its annual awards ceremony, among several other prominent achievements.
In addition to being named Station of the Year, 98.3 LNH also earned prestigious honors for Public Service Campaign of the Year and Best Local Special Program/Event for the WLNH Children’s Auction, an annual blockbuster charity event which raised $251,746 for the local community last December. WLNH.com also received top honors for the Best Website, with sister station 104.9 The Hawk taking the prize as runner up for The HawkRocks.com.
WLNH-FM is a 25,000 watt powerhouse, broadcasting Hot Adult Contemporary music and shows like “Pat and Kate in the Morning” from studios located in Gilford. Molly King, Program Director and Midday Host said “it’s great to have the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters recognize the strengths that 98.3 LNH has in Central New Hampshire. We do so much with the community throughout the year, and strive to be a brand that our listeners really know and love.”

The New Hampshire Association (NHAB) of Broadcasters is the only voluntary, statewide trade organization serving 98% of the Granite State's over-the-air radio and television stations.
