RAISES $179,500.00 FOR THE BARBARA BUSH CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
AT MAINE MEDICAL CENTER

Portland, ME– Thursday March 11th through Saturday March 13th 99-9 THE WOLF (WTHT-FM) 107-5 FRANK FM (WFNK-FM), and 105-5 Frank FM (WBYA) conducted the annual Cares For Kids Radio-thon live from the Atrium at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. All money raised goes directly to the care of kids here in Maine.

For three straight days all three stations 99-9 THE WOLF, 107-5 FRANK FM, AND 105-5 Frank FM personalities asked listeners to become Miracle Makers by donating to the hospital and the response was huge! The final amount raised to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital through the radio-thon was $179,500.00. This is the largest amount raised in the history of the Cares For Kid’s Radio-thon, beating last year by over $6,000.
Since the creation of the Cares For kids Radio-thon over $500,000 has been donated to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital with all money staying in Maine.
