ANNUAL WLNH CHILDREN’S AUCTION RAISES $251,746
Gilford, NH – WLNH
98.3, in Gilford, held their 27th Annual Children’s
Auction to help children and families in need throughout
the Lakes Region.
This
year $251,746 was raised and has already begun to
be distributed throughout the region. Some of the organizations
that are being helped are as follows: Lakes Region Child
Care Services, Laconia Police Family Fund, Gilford Police
Relief Association, the Santa Fund of the Greater Lakes
Region, Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center, Inter-Lakes
Christmas Fund, Ozanam Place, Saint Vincent De Paul Children’s
Foundation, Tilton-Northfield-Sanbornton Santa Fund,
Community Health and Hospice Young Families program,
Laconia Endowment
Education Foundation, Health First Family Care of Franklin,
Lakes Region Child Care Services, Tapply-Thompson Community
Center, the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region and
the Mrs. Santa Fund in Alton.
Since
the creation of the WLNH Children’s Auction
in 1982, over $2 million has been raised and distributed
amongst local organizations that assist need children
and their families.
