the Eagle’s Cougar’s Little League
Team of the Week
106.9 The Eagle morning host Cougar Michaels visited
little league teams at their games across the four state
region this summer as part of 1069 the Eagle’s Cougar’s
Little League Team of the Week. Each week Cougar presented
each of the kids with a commemorative 1069 the Eagle T
Shirt, as well as tickets to a Hagerstown Suns or Frederick
Keys minor league baseball game. The teams were also presented
with $100 in food from Beef O’Brady’s of Hagerstown.
The teams visited included the Valley Storage Bins Halfway
Little League of Hagerstown, LUYAA Minor League Nationals
of Frederick, Frederick American Little League Elks of
Frederick, and the Federal Little League Lions of Hagerstown.
Morning host Cougar Michaels stated “It’s the
most fun I’ve had when not fishing for as far back
as I can remember; I really had a great time.”
Cougar’s Little League Team of the Week saluted little
league stars in our community across the four states each
week, and was made possible by partnerships with EmbroidMe
of Frederick, Beef O’Brady’s of Frederick and
Hagerstown, and The Hagerstown Suns and Frederick Keys
minor league baseball teams.
