99.9 THE HAWK AND LEHIGH VALLEY MCDONALD’S RAISE MONEY FOR RONALD MCDONALD CAMP

Easton, PA – For the fifth year, 99.9 The Hawk and Lehigh Valley McDonalds join up to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Camp.

For ten Sunday’s between June and September bikers are invited to The Hawk/McDonald’s Bike Night at participating McDonald’s in the Lehigh Valley. There, bikers showcase their bikes in one of six classes competing for trophies and gift certificates.

Attendees are able to vote for a People’s Choice Awards by making a donation for a particular bike. All donations, registration fees and the proceeds from the sales of shirts and pins go toward the Ronald McDonald Camp. During each event McDonald’s will sell Vanilla Ice Cream Cones for a dollar donation to the camp and a dollar is donated for every bike that is on the lot during the event. During the first night of the event on June 7th $529.50 was raised.

The Ronald McDonald Camp was established as a special project for the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. The beautiful, wooded campsite is located in the Pocono Mountains, about an hour north of the Lehigh Valley. Dedicated staff and volunteers worked to shape a normal summer camp program that is also special enough to meet the needs of the campers.
