THE EAGLE STRIKES OUT HUNGER WITH TURKEY BOWLING
Hagerstown,
MD – 106.9 The Eagle,
in Hagerstown, Maryland, held the 4th Annual 106.9 The Eagle
Turkey Bowling.
This year, The
Eagle teamed up with Martin’s Grocery
Stores. Over the course of four events, Saturday, November
15th, Sunday, November 23rd, Saturday, November 29th and
Sunday December 14th, listeners across the Four States had
a chance to come out and bowl a strike against hunger. All
participants who donated canned and non-perishable food items
were given the opportunity to bowl with a frozen turkey.
Those who bowled a strike walked away with a Martin’s
gift card.
When all four events were finished, over 400 pounds of food
were collected and distributed to the Frederick Religious
Coalition Food Bank and C CAP of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
