106.9 THE EAGLE STRIKES OUT HUNGER WITH TURKEY BOWLING

Hagerstown, MD – 106.9 The Eagle, in Hagerstown, Maryland, held the 4th Annual 106.9 The Eagle Turkey Bowling.

This year, The Eagle teamed up with Martin’s Grocery Stores. Over the course of four events, Saturday, November 15th, Sunday, November 23rd, Saturday, November 29th and Sunday December 14th, listeners across the Four States had a chance to come out and bowl a strike against hunger. All participants who donated canned and non-perishable food items were given the opportunity to bowl with a frozen turkey. Those who bowled a strike walked away with a Martin’s gift card.

When all four events were finished, over 400 pounds of food were collected and distributed to the Frederick Religious Coalition Food Bank and C CAP of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
