93.5 WSBG LISTENERS HELP FEED THE NEED

Stroudsburg, PA – On Friday, November 14th, Lite 93.5, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, collected over 1,000 canned goods and non-perishable food items. The collection of these items gave the Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network a much needed deposit to the group’s food bank. Lite 93.5, Morning Show Co-Host, Chuck Seese, manned the location at Kinsley’s Shop Rite in Brodheadsville from 7am to 5pm. Lite listeners answered the call for help.

“The volunteers at the Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network had literally run out of food while filling up food baskets for less fortunate families living in the West End of Monroe County” Stated Seese. “Our listeners did a great job of helping their friends and neighbors with their generous donations. Some folks even donated cash, and that will help the Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network buy some turkeys for some of the families.”

A Mayflower truck was donated to move the collected items to the Network’s building. Volunteers added the bounty to the empty shelves, which allowed more baskets to be made and more families to be fed on Thanksgiving.
