WSBG LISTENERS BLANKET THE POCONOS
Stroudsburg,
PA – Lite 93.5 held
a marathon blanket drive, from Friday, December 19th to Sunday,
December 21st, in which over 250 blankets were collected.
Lite 93.5 Morning Show Co-Host, Chuck Seese, spent 27 hours
camped outside the Stroudsburg Mall collecting blankets for
the less fortunate families in the Poconos.
“I had the easy job”, said Seese. “It
was a snowy Friday night, colder on Saturday and more snow
on Sunday, but for folks who may be homeless or can’t
afford to heat their homes, well, I can’t even imagine
what they go through. These blankets will help make a cold
winter a little more bearable.”
At the end of the weekend, volunteers from the Salvation
Army in East Stroudsburg took the blankets and distributed
them to those seeking aid through the Salvation Army.
