Nassau Waves Buh-bye To Oldies, Hello To 'Frank' On Cape Cod
March 22, 2006
By Ken Tucker

Nassau Broadcasting oldies simulcast WTWV/WDVT (the Wave) Cape Cod, Mass., flips to adult hits as “Frank FM.” The station is promising a mix that includes everything from Janet Jackson and Bruce Springsteen to Chumbawamba.

The only major genres that will be off-limits are country and rap, GM Jake Demmin told the Cap Cod Times. Pop songs will be limited. “There isn't a lot of Kelly Clarkson,”' Demmin said.

Like Jack stations, Frank will run without jocks.

The Cape Cod flip means that Nassau now has five stations in the format.
